WHAT's AVAILABLE IN THE ASENSEI FREE TRIAL

The focus of the free trial is to allow athletes to experience a range of different workouts from different coaches and coaching programs. The selection of trial programs are shown below. Each trial program contains at least one workout to help you get a feel for the coaching style and the style of workout.

SWEAT FACTORY

Try the Groove Row workout from coach Johan Quie. Filmed on the rooftop of asensei HQ in San Francisco this is the first workout in the Sweat Factory program.

MASTER THE BASICS

Try the SHORT BUT EFFECTIVE workout for free, which is from the full MASTER THE BASICS program from British Rowing which is a program to build the skills, strength and stamina you need to make indoor rowing part of your fitness journey.

DARK HORSE ROWING

Get a taste of the Be A Dark Horse program featuring themed weekly workouts both on and off the rowing machine with coach Shane Farmer. Try the PURPOSE+INTERVAL ROW workout as part of your free trial.

Who better to help you improve your 6km time than the fastest person ever to row 6km on a rowing machine? World record holder Eric Murray takes you on an intensive 12-week program with 5 workouts a week.

QUICK START GUIDE

New to asensei?

Follow the guide below to try your first workout.

1. 

Download the app from the Apple iOS appstore

2. 

Create an account by opening the app and choosing "Get Started"

Hit the Erg! You should have a Concept 2 Rower with a PM5, a WaterRower with ComModule or a FluidRower and optionally a holder for your iPhone or iPad and a set of bluetooth headphones or a speaker. If you wish to you can connect to Apple Health or the Concept 2 Logbook.

Choose a workout. Asensei recommends a workout for you each time you open the app. To get started just press Let's work out and start - asensei will guide your how to connect to the Concept 2 PM5 inside the workout itself.  

If you wish to choose your own session hit the Hey asensei button [+] and then Workouts. You need to tap a workout once to download and once more to run when the download is complete.

5. 

Review your results in the session history - tap the arrow in the top right of the screen.
