Jess DiCarlo
Jess fell in love with rowing in college. After about 20 years off, she picked it up again in 2015 rowing one day a week with a fun league and has gotten steadily more involved since then. In 2020, she quit her job as a technical writer in software development and started Ralph Village Boatworks to repair rowing shells near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which has an active rowing community and an abundance of rivers. In addition to repairing rowing shells, she enjoys writing and reading almost exclusively about rowing and rowing-related topics. Jess is an active member of the asensei rowing community.
